While there is little information available in the use of ART in Turkey, some things are known.
First, only married persons may use assisted reproduction. Second, both spouses are to receive and acknowledge their informed consent to the procedures. Third, cryopreservation of embryos is permitted but only for up to three (3) years. And fourth, third party donations are not permitted.
